My older son will make a great attorney someday. He fights with his brother and sisters better than anyone I know. He has a stubborn streak that makes him fight for what he truly believes in. And he doesn’t give up easily. He is strong-willed, tenacious, determined and never, ever is he guilty or in the wrong.
My son has learned from the best. One of my sisters-in-law is an attorney, in addition to my two brothers, so it’s obvious it is in the blood. He is so close with my younger brother that he has his number on speed dial, not to mention a retainer fee since he started walking!
So how does he do it, one might ask? To quote a wise man (my son), “You didn’t tell me I couldn’t do it!” That one line alone has gotten him out of more time-outs than I can remember …
