Life is full of mysteries: What is the meaning of life? Do beings exist on other planets? How can kids master a video game with no instructions, yet can’t remember to make a bed?
From time to time I reflect on important life questions like these.
For instance, why are children smart enough to operate the DVD player without assistance but not smart enough to understand that the turkey sandwich is not supposed to go inside it?
Why is it that Barney the purple dinosaur cannot be mentioned in the house past age four, yet the tooth fairy lives on forever?
I suppose if Barney wanted to visit and drop some money off under our children’s pillows, things might be different…
